Oh happy day! We had another appointment today. The doctor did another sonogram and said that everything looks very good. Last Saturday, I began a progesterone supplement. A blood test showed my natural progesterone level to be low, so the Dr. thinks this is a good way to add a little more support to the pregnancy. We also had a little spotting scare throughout the last weekend, but the bleeding has since subsided. It's also been a week of verrrry strong pregnancy symptoms, (excessive nausea, dizziness, and overall exhaustion and lots of vomitting!) all of which are good signs. We've been referred to a perinatologist(I can't even say it, much less, spell it). It's a doctor who specializes in high risk pregnancies. With a previous miscarriage and high blood pressure, the Dr. says we should have them on the team as consultants, should anything serious happen. Dr. also says that she believes we are actually eight weeks along! So, all is well for now. Our next appointment is September 15th, stay tuned!
