Jayhawk Jumpsuit...You cant find Jayhawk stuff anywhere around here...We have to get it when we go home...They have televised all the Kansas Jayhawk football games so far this year and so I tape them and watch them later...David likes watching them with me.

We got a Chiefs jersey for David the last time we were home in Kansas...Too bad LJ is unhappy and wants out of KC...But all the same...What do ya'll think? Awesome, eah?

Plano Balloon Fest...What a blast!!!

This was our first Plano Balloon fest and what fun it was! We had such a great time, and most importantly...David had the best time of all!!! He loved all the balloons especially when they were being inflated and floating away and at the end of the night, they had balloons come in and do a number of "full burns" which made all the balloons light up against the night sky...Such a great time!
Yup...That one there is a jack-in-the-box...But it deflated early and had trouble getting off the ground

David did lots of walking around that day...

David's 18 month check-up update

We had a check up on Tuesday and the doctor gave David a clean bill of health as well as taking some measurements like they always do. So here are the current statistics of our baby boy...
Height - 33 inches - That's 50th to 75th percentile. (We already know he's going to be bigger than daddy...Hooray!)
Weight - 24lbs 7 oz. - That's 25th to 50th percentile. Tall and lean. We like it! He's just a very healthy boy. Finicky...But healthy. Loves fruit, not so much on the veggies...Loves chicken, goldfish, yogurt,cheez nips,sun chips, baked cheetos, watermelon, grapes, banana, ...the kid just eats like a horse...He would eat all day if you let him.
Head Circumference - 90TH PERCENTILE! Like we always say...Big Head...Big Brains! And it shows with his vocabulary. These are all words that David can say for real...Not just baby talk. I think this a nice list to start with for an 18 month old. He says: mama, dada, ball, balloon, Elmo, apple, Bert, Oscar, Bird, ear, eye, nose, mouth, aweschrum, up, down, dog, ruff, eat, drink, more, this, no no, hello, draw, chalk, out, balloon, moo, moon, hop, socks, shoes, juice, and i dont know(which is mangled, but that's okay)...So the little man is talking up a storm and we love every minute of it. He's doing great and here's a picture to prove it! Oh...Fyi, David recieved two immunizations (one in each leg) and cried for maybe 10 seconds...I held him and he looked at me, he wiped the tears away and asked for something to eat. He's his father's son. Enjoy!

David's playroom additions.....

Mommy had a very good idea...Lets put beach balls and Elmo Kite on the ceiling of the playroom...Here's how it turned out!!! We think David enjoys it!
Here's the overall...If you look at the left side...You will see a mirror down below the wallshelf...Grandma Margie showed off her artistic abilities and drew Sesame Street and Yo Gabba Gabba characters on it...And made a place for David's little face...Its so awesome...Here are some pictures below...

Halloween ball! This ball has a jacko-latern face on it...Its a great dodge-ball...But it will be a great basketball for now.

Mimi's boyfriend Jim brought his IPod and David wanted to try it out...Once he crawled up into his lap, he ripped the earbob out and put it up to his ear for a listen...Jim has 2,400 songs on his IPod plus 30-some movies...Amazing!

Mimi brought a couple of Elmo books for David and he immediately started screaming ELMO!!! ELMO!!!!

Man, this Jello is awesome!!!...David now says...aweschum!!!

David has enjoyed his new sippy cup that he got from Auntie Eva!!! Yummy!
